Job summary

SEDA College (Victoria) is seeking a Regional Manager for its High Performance Program. You’ll lead the teaching staff, oversee program delivery across AFL, Cricket, Basketball and Football, and coordinate training and assessment in a dynamic educational setting.

Based in Victoria, the role involves travel and close collaboration with industry partners, government and stakeholders to ensure exceptional student experiences and outcomes for Year 11 & 12 learners.

Qualifications

• Suitable experience and background relevant to the role.
• Experience working in a high-performance sporting environment including the development of programs for high performance athletes.
• Have a thorough understanding of state and national development pathways across various sporting codes.
• Knowledge of athletic development needs in adolescents.
• Ability to adopt a strategic approach with a focus on continuous improvement of the College, plus problem solving to identify and implement solutions.
• Ability to provide leadership and support to teaching staff using educational frameworks for high student experience.
• High level budgeting and planning skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Assistant Principal Operations, the Regional Manager is the direct line manager of the SEDA College teacher and the link between College and classes.
• The Regional Manager – HPP oversees management, facilitation, training and assessment within the High Performance Program across AFL, Cricket, Basketball and Football, with regular travel.
