Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Region School Sport Officer to support the delivery of School Sport Victoria interschool sport programs across regions. You will implement event plans, manage inquiries, and coordinate responses to appeals with the Interschool Sport Manager and CEO.

You'll work with Region Coordinators and other staff to ensure facilities, scheduling, communications, marketing and financial considerations are met, while building networks with government, schools

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Education, Sports Management/Administration or related is desired.
Experience in sports administration or school sport is desired.
Strong planning and budgeting skills with event delivery experience.
Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead interschool sport projects and strategies within regions and across the state.
Coordinate and respond to appeals/complaints relating to interschool sport.
Implement event management plans and ensure facilities, scheduling, communications, marketing and finances are managed.
Respond to queries from SSV Region, Division and District Coordinators and collaborate with the Interschool Sport Manager and CEO.
