Covestic Inc in Sydney seeks an experienced IT Support Office Lead to oversee IT support across the JPAC region and globally, coordinating with regional leadership and the Workplace & Site Leads while serving as a hands-on regional liaison for AV and Network Infrastructure teams.

You’ll foster collaboration, push for consistent IT support experiences worldwide, respond to user requests via chat and ticket systems, troubleshoot Apple, Windows, and ChromeOS devices, and lead laptop deployments

Qualifications

3+ years in IT support roles.
OS X/Mac hardware troubleshooting.
Basic AV and networking skills (video conferencing, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
Experience in distributed teams with HQ elsewhere.
Experience with ticket tools (Asana, Zendesk or similar).
Positive, service‑oriented attitude.
Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs).

Responsibilities

Oversee IT Support operations across the Sydney region with flexibility for time zones.
Function as the Voice of the Region for Sydney, partnering with regional leadership.
Partner with IT Support leadership to ensure a consistent IT Support experience globally.
Respond to user requests via chat and ticketing systems.
Troubleshoot hardware and software for Apple, Windows, and ChromeOS devices.
Build and deploy laptops using JAMF, Intune, ABM, etc.
Participate in IT onboarding sessions and welcome events.
Provide remote support for AV and Network teams (conference rooms, projectors, Zoom).
Manage system access for Asana’s users.
Deploy and support software to end-users.
Manage hardware and software inventory.
