Job summary

Woodham Petroleum Services in Dubbo (Northern NSW) is seeking a Business Development Manager to win new customers and grow existing accounts across bulk fuel, lubricants, tanks and related products.

Based in the Dubbo region, you’ll cover the territory from Dubbo to the Queensland border, building long-term customer relationships, preparing proposals and negotiating pricing to deliver profitable growth with support from cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or business development experience with a track record of growing profitable accounts.
• Experience managing a regional territory and customer portfolio.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial judgment.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory and hold a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Win new business through prospecting, customer visits and follow-up.
• Develop retail fuel customers and convert opportunities into supply agreements.
• Retain and grow accounts, identify at risk customers and re-engage dormant or declining accounts.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate pricing to meet volume and margin targets.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline with next actions and forecast updates weekly.
• Collaborate with depot teams to onboard customers and deliver reliable service.
