Job summary

SA Power Networks is seeking a Connections Officer to support customers and projects across the Mid North and Yorke Peninsula, based from Port Pirie or Clare depots. You will assess electrical connection needs, scope minor projects, and prepare designs, drawings and customer offers to move work from enquiry to completion.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade certificate or equivalent level of skills and knowledge
• Minimum two years’ experience in a related position
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to provide responsive customer service and keep customers informed
• Technical design, analytical problem-solving and project coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Assess customer and technical requirements for new connections, alterations, isolations and abolishments
• Scope and coordinate minor projects, preparing estimates, designs, drawings and customer offers
• Coordinate work with customers, electrical contractors and internal delivery teams
• Manage projects from enquiry to completion, including approvals, costs and timeframes
• Keep customers informed and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Deliver timely, cost-effective connection solutions and a positive customer experience
