Job summary

Randstad is partnering on a Regional NSW commissioning-focused Electrical Project Engineer role on a DIDO/rotational contract. The position involves overseeing commissioning activities for a renewable energy zone project, with day-rate remuneration, LAFHA, and accommodation offered.

The role requires electrical engineering degre e, experience across design/construction/commissioning, and strong stakeholder management. A current Australian driver's licence and White Card are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in project engineering including oversight of the commissioning phase.
• Experience across design, construction and commissioning environments on major infrastructure, utilities, energy or industrial projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities to support the design, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical project works.
• Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and suppliers while resolving engineering issues across the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning, procurement, quality documentation, ITPs and project-specific procedures.
• Monitor project progress and collaborate with project delivery teams to achieve schedule and cost objectives.
• Identify and manage project risks while maintaining compliance with safety, quality and project management systems.
