Job summary

Oxford University Press is seeking a Regional Director Asia Commercial and ANZ Sales to lead the Sales function across Australia and New Zealand and provide commercial leadership across Asia. You will drive growth, pricing strategy, and the end-to-end commercial lifecycle for large contracts and partnerships.

In this role you will build and lead ANZ teams, transition toward digital, ensure rigorous governance, and partner with Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product and Business Development to unlock

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial and sales leadership roles in a multinational, multi-channel organisation.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving targets.
• Strong commercial acumen in pricing, negotiation and growth.
• Ability to lead change and drive execution to results.
• Effective communicator with senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Experience and knowledge of the publishing industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Sales function across Australia and New Zealand.
• Develop and execute the ANZ sales strategy to hit revenue, profit, market share and customer growth targets.
• Drive evolution toward digital and data-led sales models.
• Oversee licensing, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
• Coach and develop sales teams and improve performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product and Business Development to align strategy.
