Job summary

Abano Healthcare is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of dental practices across Victoria, Tasmania and ACT. You will drive operational excellence, support clinical and commercial success, and lead a team of practice managers and leaders to improve patient care and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-site operations, preferably in healthcare/dental or similar customer-focused settings.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams across locations.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret performance metrics and drive outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across all levels of the organisation.
• Highly organised with ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining patient care focus.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a passion for developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a portfolio of practices across Victoria, Tasmania and ACT to achieve operational, commercial, and clinical success.
• Partner with Practice Managers and clinical teams to build high-performing, engaged, customer-focused practices.
• Coach, mentor, and develop leaders to drive capability, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance indicators and implement strategies to improve patient experience, operational efficiency, and financial outcomes.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, People & Culture, Marketing, Finance and Clinical teams to ensure practices are well-supported.
• Drive workforce planning, practice performance, and delivery of regional initiatives.
