Telstra Corporation in Darwin is seeking a Regional Defence Technician to operate with minimal supervision, handling end-to-end activation and assurance tasks across current and future ICT products and services. You will work on site to address incidents, service requests, and project tasks within the Defence ICT environment.

The role requires NV1 (and NV2) security clearance, strong customer management skills, and knowledge of Juniper networks, voice tech, and fibre/copper infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum NV1 AGSVA security clearance.
• Australian citizenship is required.
• Must be an Australian citizen.
• Hold and maintain NV2 security clearance as required.

Responsabilités

• Proactively support regional defence team and opportunities.
• Work on the customer’s ICT environment, including Juniper network, Skype for Business, video conferencing, passive infrastructure (fibre and copper).
• Manage workload in the service management tool to meet SLAs.
• Deliver service requests within SLA.
• Update documentation during changes to maintain ICT environment accuracy.
• Maintain and report the security of the ICT environment.
• Provide weekly reporting or escalation to the Delivery Manager.
• Contribute to technical and procedural documentation.
