Amazon Support Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the AWS Region Services team in Australia, delivering highly secure, scalable Windows-based environments with automation and On-Call responsibilities. The role requires Australian security clearance eligibility and a commitment to security and operational excellence.

You will work on Windows Server and Active Directory support, patching, and automation using PowerShell, with on-call duties to ensure 24/7 availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of SRE, systems engineering, or related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, configuration management).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Windows Server infrastructure systems and Active Directory services.
• Perform system maintenance, updates, and patch management for Windows environments.
• Develop and implement automation solutions for routine support processes using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities, and contribute to knowledge base and runbook development.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 system availability.
