Job summary

Downer Rural Maintenance Coordinator role in Port Augusta region seeks an experienced supervisor ready to broaden leadership across multiple maintenance programs. You will lead Supervisors and field teams, coordinate resources and subcontractors while delivering safe, high-quality road maintenance outcomes.

You report to the Area Manager and will drive operational planning, budgets and client relationships, contributing to the regional maintenance performance and Downer’s Zero Harm culture.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in civil construction or road maintenance.
• Experience supervising crews across active work sites.
• Ability to lead Supervisors and field teams.
• Exposure to budgets, costs, quotations and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supervisors and field teams across multiple fronts.
• Coordinate maintenance programs, resources, contractors and subcontractors.
• Manage area budgets, expenditure and quotations.
• Monitor operational KPIs, project costs, quality and delivery performance.
• Coach Supervisors and develop capability across the wider team.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and local stakeholders.
• Identify operational risks, resourcing needs and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure works meet safety, environmental, quality and contractual requirements.
• Champion Downer's Zero Harm culture across all operations.
