Job summary

Downer is seeking a Grader Operator based in Murray Bridge to support road maintenance across the network. You will operate a grader and other plant to maintain road shoulders, drainage and pavements, with daily return-to-home arrangements.

This role requires experience with graders in civil environments, a valid HR Licence and White Card, and a safety-focused approach. FIFO/DIDO is not provided. Join a team delivering essential road maintenance across South Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a grader in road maintenance, local government, agriculture or civil environment.
• HR Licence and White Card (General Construction Induction) required.
• Experience operating additional plant such as skid steers, excavators or backhoes is advantageous.
• Understanding of road maintenance activities and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability, safety focus and commitment to quality outcomes.

Downer's Maintenance & ITS business is proud to be expanding its footprint across South Australia, delivering vital road and asset maintenance services across the Barossa, Riverland and South East Regions, covering approximately 5,600km of sealed road network.

It's an exciting time to join a team that plays a key role in keeping South Australia's roads safe, reliable and connected.

We are currently seeking a Grader Operator to join our team based in Murray Bridge. This hands-on role will support a range of road maintenance activities across the network, operating graders and other plant to help maintain road shoulders, drainage, pavements and road assets. This is a locally based position in Murray Bridge with daily return-to-home arrangements. FIFO/DIDO accommodation is not provided.

About you

• Experience operating a grader in a road maintenance, local government, agriculture or civil environment
• Current HR Licence and White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Experience operating additional plant such as skid steers, excavators or backhoes is advantageous
• Understanding of road maintenance activities and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
