Job summary

Harvey Norman Global Pty Limited in Australia is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to cover Southern NSW and ACT, identifying leads, building relationships, and driving disposal of surplus equipment across transport, earthmoving, construction, and manufacturing sectors.

You will be provided with a warm book of leads and repeat clients, travel weekly for onsite meetings, and have the flexibility to work from the office, home, or on the road.

Qualifications

• Proven sales ability with a track record of overachievement and closing large deals.
• Market knowledge across industrial categories such as transport, earthmoving, construction, and manufacturing.
• Auction experience is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads and build relationships across Southern NSW and ACT.
• Cover a large region with regular face-to-face site meetings.
• Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to meet KPIs.
• Plan and execute local sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
• Weekly travel is required to achieve goals in this role.
