Kennedy Reid Pty is partnering with a major Australian financial institution to recruit Banking Customer Service Representatives for the Ballina, Lismore and Casino region. You will support multiple branches, delivering friendly service and handling everyday banking tasks.

You’ll assist customers with deposits, withdrawals and digital banking guidance, while adapting to different branch environments and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in banking, retail, hospitality, sales, contact centres or another fast-paced environment.
• Confidence handling cash and completing transactions accurately, or a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in helping customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes.
• Professional, reliable and adaptable approach.
• Confidence learning new systems and working across different branch environments.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• Full availability for full-time casual hours.
• Current driver’s licence and access to your own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness and ability to travel between Ballina, Lismore, Casino and surrounding branches as required.

Responsabilités

• Delivering friendly, professional and efficient service to customers visiting the branch.
• Processing everyday banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments.
• Handling cash accurately and balancing transactions in line with banking procedures.
• Assisting customers with account enquiries and general banking needs.
• Educating customers on digital banking, mobile banking and self-service options.
• Identifying customer needs and referring more complex enquiries to the appropriate banking specialists.
• Maintaining accurate records and following banking policies, privacy requirements and security controls.
• Supporting branch teams with daily operational tasks and customer service requirements.
• Adapting quickly to different branch environments, customer needs and team processes.
• Building rapport with customers and colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality service.
