Job summary

Baker Motors in Albury-Wodonga is seeking an experienced Automotive Workshop Supervisor (or Senior Technician ready to step up) to lead our workshop team and maintain high quality service. You’ll balance floor leadership with hands-on diagnostics, mentor apprentices, and work with Service Advisors to ensure accurate estimates, timely job completion, and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified with Cert III in Automotive Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, ready to mentor and lead a workshop team.
• Excellent diagnostic capabilities and attention to quality control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop workflow, job allocation, and technician productivity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technicians and apprentices.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure accurate repair estimates and timely completion of jobs.
• Ensure workshop safety, quality control, and compliance standards are met.
• Hands-on diagnostic and repair work for complex jobs as needed.
