Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead delivery of projects and maintenance across the Chinchilla region in Queensland. The role reports to the leadership team and offers a permanent full-time opportunity with significant autonomy to influence outcomes while building strong client relationships.

Key focus areas include safety, performance, continuous improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and pipeline works.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within construction, maintenance, energy, infrastructure, resources or heavy industry.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects involving civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or pipeline works.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, estimating, and contract management.
• Excellent organisational, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills.
• A strong focus on safety, people leadership, and operational performance.
• Experience developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe and successful delivery of projects and contracts across the Chinchilla region.
• Help oversee operational performance, workforce planning, project execution, and resource management.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for contract delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and legislative requirements.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.
