Job summary

Monadelphous Group is seeking an experienced Area Manager in Chinchilla, Queensland to lead delivery of projects and maintenance activities across the region. You will develop client relationships and identify growth opportunities while operating with autonomy in a leadership capacity.

The role focuses on safe delivery, operational performance and continuous improvement within a supportive team culture. Local relocation support may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in construction, maintenance, energy, infrastructure or heavy industry.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or pipeline).
• Strong commercial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.
• Excellent organisational, scheduling and stakeholder management skills.
• Focus on safety, people leadership and operational performance.
• Experience developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe and successful delivery of projects and contracts across the Chinchilla region.
• Help oversee operational performance, workforce planning, project execution, and resource management.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary contact for contract delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and legislative requirements.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and operational excellence.
