The Department of Health, Tasmania, seeks an Operational Supervisor to lead day-to-day ambulance service delivery in the North West region. You will supervise operations, provide strategic advice to the Director, and drive patient care quality improvements.

Based in the North West region, you will manage resources, liaise with hospitals and community partners, and perform clinical duties as required. This role is fixed-term with potential for extension and involves travel within the region.

Qualificações

• Registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia.
• Bachelor of Paramedic Science or an approved equivalent; relevant work experience with a management qualification preferred.
• Current Driver’s Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direction and supervision of operations within the region.
• Advise the Director and recommend improvements for ambulance service delivery.
• Ensure high patient care standards via QA programs and performance reviews.
• Supervise regional human, physical and financial resources, including budgets.
• Develop policies on resourcing and servicing regional activities.
• Liaise with hospitals, emergency services and community on common issues.
• Undertake clinical practice as required.
