St John WA is seeking an experienced Operations Lead (Ambulance Operations) based in Northam, covering Wheatbelt North with regular travel. The role oversees all operational ambulance activities within the district, guiding crews, managing resources, and ensuring high-quality, safe patient care.

You will report to the District Operations Manager and work a 4x4 roster with long days. Ideal candidates will bring healthcare management experience, strong leadership, and a collaborative approach.

Qualificações

• Proven leadership of diverse teams in healthcare.
• Ability to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of clinical governance and risk management.
• Experience in healthcare management or emergency services is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support the District Operations Manager to meet KPIs within timeframes.
• Model leadership and promote wellbeing across the district.
• Lead delivery of high-quality, efficient ambulance service in the district.
• Monitor performance and report risks/opportunities to management.
• Develop and implement operational plans and strategic initiatives.
• Report risks to KPI achievement and assist in risk mitigation.
• Provide leadership and development for the operational team across the district.
• Collaborate with functions to improve district performance and culture.
• Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery.
