Job summary

City FM Australia is seeking an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to join our team servicing a cluster of Coles sites in Burpengary, Caboolture and Morayfield. You will deliver preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring high standards and reliable service across stores.

Reporting to the Field Operations Supervisor, you will work autonomously, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and participate in a 13-week on-call roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in supermarket environments.
• Licences including Refrigerant Handling and Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Current Driver's Licence and ability to operate across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance across multiple refrigeration sites.
• Conduct frequent Planned Preventative Maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance work promptly.
• Communicate effectively and develop partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Work on a rotating on-call roster, 13 weeks per year.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will complete preventative & reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites. Reporting to your Field Operations Supervisor, you will work to maintain high standards across your stores, provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician, who is comfortable working autonomously to deliver timely outcomes.

Your cluster will be based in Burpengary, Caboolture and Morayfield.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance services, on multiple high-end state of the art refrigeration sites.
• Conduct frequent Planned Preventative Maintenance so that critical breakdown issues do not occur.
• Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance work in a timely manner.
• Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships with all key stakeholders.
• Work on a rotating on-call roster, 13 weeks per year.

To be considered for this role:

• Practical experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in a supermarket environment
• Refrigerant Handling Licence & Restricted Electrical Licence
• Mechanical Services A/C & Ref Occupational QBCC
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Scissor/ Elevate Work Platform licence – highly regarded.
• An understanding of CO2 systemsand refrigeration controls; Emerson, Danfoss and Alerton
