Job summary

City FM Australia is seeking an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to service a cluster of Coles sites, delivering preventative and reactive maintenance across Burpengary, Caboolture and Morayfield. You will work autonomously to ensure high standards and timely outcomes.

The role requires a proven track record in commercial refrigeration, a Refrigerant Handling Licence and a Restricted Electrical Licence, along with QBCC certification and a current driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in supermarket environments.
• Refrigerant Handling Licence and Restricted Electrical Licence clearly held.
• QBCC Mechanical Services/Ref Occupation qualification.
• Current Driver’s Licence and strong customer service skills.
• Scissor/Elevate Work Platform licence is highly regarded (if held).
• Familiarity with CO2 systems and refrigeration controls (Emerson, Danfoss, Alerton).

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance across multiple refrigeration sites.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Respond to reactive refrigeration/HVAC maintenance tasks promptly.
• Communicate effectively and build strong stakeholder partnerships.
• On-call rotating roster (13 weeks per year).

The Opportunity

In this role, you will complete preventative & reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites. Reporting to your Field Operations Supervisor, you will work to maintain high standards across your stores, provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician, who is comfortable working autonomously to deliver timely outcomes.

Your cluster will be based in Burpengary, Caboolture and Morayfield.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance services, on multiple high-end state of the art refrigeration sites.
• Conduct frequent Planned Preventative Maintenance so that critical breakdown issues do not occur.

• Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance work in a timely manner.
• Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships with all key stakeholders.
• Work on a rotating on-call roster, 13 weeks per year.
