Job summary

City FM Australia is seeking an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to service a cluster of Coles sites in Burpengary and surrounding areas. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, ensure high standards of refrigeration systems, and deliver timely outcomes while working autonomously.

You will report to the Field Operations Supervisor and maintain strong customer relations, with a focus on safety and reliability. A pre-employment medical may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in supermarket environment.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Strong communication skills with customer focus.
• Licence for Scissor/Elevate Work Platform is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance services, on multiple high-end state of the art refrigeration sites.
• Conduct frequent Planned Preventative Maintenance so that critical breakdown issues do not occur.
• Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance work in a timely manner.
• Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships with all key stakeholders.
• Work on a rotating on-call roster, 13 weeks per year.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will complete preventative & reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites. Reporting to your Field Operations Supervisor, you will work to maintain high standards across your stores, provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician, who is comfortable working autonomously to deliver timely outcomes.

Your cluster will be based in Burpengary, Caboolture and Morayfield.

Your key responsibilities will include:

To be considered for this role:

• Practical experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in a supermarket environment
• Refrigerant Handling Licence & Restricted Electrical Licence
• Mechanical Services A/C & Ref Occupational QBCC
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Scissor/ Elevate Work Platform licence – highly regarded.
