Job summary

City FM Australia is seeking an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to service a cluster of Coles sites across Brisbane Metro. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on high-end refrigeration systems, working autonomously to deliver timely outcomes and building strong relationships with store teams.

Ideal candidates will have supermarket HVAC experience, relevant licences, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in a supermarket environment.
• Refrigerant handling and electrical/gas licences required.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver timely outcomes.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance on multiple high-end refrigeration sites.
• Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance promptly.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and stores.
• Work on a rotating on-call roster, 13 weeks per year.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will complete preventative & reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites. Reporting to your Field Operations Supervisor, you will work to maintain high standards across your stores, provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician, who is comfortable working autonomously to deliver timely outcomes.

Your cluster will be based in Brisbane Metro.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance services, on multiple high-end state of the art refrigeration sites.
• Conduct frequent Planned Preventative Maintenance so that critical breakdown issues do not occur.

• Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance work in a timely manner.
• Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships with all key stakeholders.
• Work on a rotating on-call roster, 13 weeks per year.

To be considered for this role:

• Practical experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in a supermarket environment
• Refrigerant Handling Licence & Restricted Electrical Licence
• QBCC Mechnical Services Occupational A/C & Ref
• Gas Work licence (Hydrocarbon)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Scissor/ Elevate Work Platform licence – highly regarded.

• An understanding of CO2 systemsand refrigeration controls; Emerson, Danfoss and Alerton
