Job summary

City FM Australia is seeking an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to deliver preventative and reactive maintenance across Coles sites within Brisbane Metro. You will work autonomously, maintain high standards, and provide exceptional service to store partners.

The role requires practical refrigeration/HVAC skills in a supermarket environment, relevant licences, and the ability to manage on-call shifts as part of a support team.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in a supermarket environment is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver timely outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance services across multiple refrigeration sites.
• Conduct frequent Planned Preventative Maintenance to prevent critical breakdowns.
• Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance issues promptly.
• Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Work on a rotating on-call roster, 13 weeks per year.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will complete preventative & reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites. Reporting to your Field Operations Supervisor, you will work to maintain high standards across your stores, provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician, who is comfortable working autonomously to deliver timely outcomes.

Your cluster will be based in Brisbane Metro.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Take full responsibility for delivery of repairs and maintenance services, on multiple high-end state of the art refrigeration sites.
• Conduct frequent Planned Preventative Maintenance so that critical breakdown issues do not occur.
• Respond to reactive Refrigeration/HVAC maintenance work in a timely manner.
• Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships with all key stakeholders.
• Work on a rotating on-call roster, 13 weeks per year.

To be considered for this role:

• Practical experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC in a supermarket environment
• Refrigerant Handling Licence & Restricted Electrical Licence
• QBCC Mechnical Services Occupational A/C & Ref
• Gas Work licence (Hydrocarbon)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Scissor/ Elevate Work Platform licence – highly regarded.
• An understanding of CO2 systemsand refrigeration controls; Emerson, Danfoss and Alerton
