Job summary

Labourforce in Heritage Park, QLD is seeking reliable Recycling Sorters/General Labourers to join a busy recycling and resource recovery operation. Previous experience is helpful but reliability and a strong work ethic are valued traits in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

Working as part of the recycling and sorting team, you will be responsible for identifying and sorting recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt while ensuring contaminants and non‑recyclable materials are removed.

This is a hands‑on, physical role suited to someone comfortable working on their feet and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting recyclable materials from a conveyor belt
• Identifying and removing contaminants and non‑recyclable items
• Placing recyclable materials into the correct chutes or bins
• Performing general site labouring duties
• Assisting with housekeeping and maintaining site cleanliness
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Following all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Working effectively as part of a team

What We're Looking For

• Previous recycling, labouring, manufacturing or warehouse experience highly regarded
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods
