Buildability Group in Bondi Junction, NSW, is seeking a Labour Hire Resourcer. You’ll source, screen and line up candidates for clients across multiple industries and states, often on short notice.

This hands-on role rewards results with mentoring from senior recruiters and directors, exposure to a broad mix of industries, and clear pathways to progress in a growing boutique agency. You’ll travel interstate as needed and enjoy a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, resourcing or labour hire, preferably sales-driven.
• Strong communication and organisational skills for fast-paced environments.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates via job boards, social media, referrals and our database.
• Run pre-screening phone interviews and shortlist for recruiters.
• Build and maintain talent pools across engineering, mining, construction and government roles.
• Fill client requests across NSW and other states, including urgent needs.
• Write and post clear job ads on multiple platforms.
• Manage compliance and pre-employment checks (tickets, licences, right to work, references).
• Keep candidates informed from first contact to start date.
• Keep the database accurate and up to date.
• Occasional interstate travel to meet clients and sites.

About Us

Buildability Group is a boutique labour hire agency of 10-15 people. We supply skilled and general workers across engineering, mining, construction and government panels, in Sydney and interstate. We’re small enough that you won’t get lost. You’ll work daily alongside our Senior Recruiters and Company Directors, see how deals get done and get the support to build your own desk.

The Role:

As our Labour Hire Resourcer, you’ll be the engine behind our placements. You’ll find, screen and line up the right people for clients across multiple industries and states, often at short notice.

It’s a hands‑on role with real variety. One day you’re sourcing engineers for a project, the next you’re filling crews for a mine site or a government panel request. It suits someone who wants to learn labour hire properly and be rewarded for results.

What you’ll do

• Source and screen candidates through job boards, social media, referrals and our database
• Run pre-screening phone interviews and shortlist for the recruiters
• Build and maintain talent pools across engineering, mining, construction and government-panel roles
• Fill client requests across NSW and other states, including urgent ones
• Write and post clear, engaging job ads across multiple platforms
• Manage compliance and pre-employment checks (tickets, licences, right to work, references)
• Keep candidates informed and supported from first call to start date
• Keep the database accurate and up to date
• Join the occasional interstate trip to meet clients and see sites first-hand

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in recruitment, resourcing, labour hire or a sales-driven role (preferred, but we’ll consider motivated newcomers)
• Some understanding of, or interest in, construction, mining, engineering or government work
• Strong communication skills and an easy manner with candidates at every level, from labourers to engineers
• Drive, good organisation and the ability to juggle multiple roles at once
• Confidence in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Good computer skills and comfort learning new systems
• Happy to travel interstate from time to time

What’s On Offer

• Salary up to $80,000 including super, depending on experience
• Post-probation - Uncapped resourcing commission, paid monthly, so the more you place, the more you earn
