Job summary

HIR Talent in Sydney is seeking a driven Recruitment Consultant to own a growing Construction desk. You’ll manage the full 360 recruitment process, from business development through to sourcing and placement, with autonomy and earning potential.

Join a warm desk with Tier 1–3 clients, hybrid working, and access to leading recruitment tech. You’ll build relationships, headhunt top candidates, and play a key role in shaping future growth at a boutique agency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years recruitment experience.
• Background in Construction, Property, Engineering or related sector preferred.
• Strong business development and client relationship instincts.

Responsibilities

• Grow an established Construction desk across Sydney and Brisbane.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients.
• Develop new business, generate leads and win new opportunities.
• Source high-calibre candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Loxo CRM, Seek and other platforms.
• Headhunt and engage passive candidates within the Construction market.
• Build and maintain a strong, high-quality candidate network.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from brief to placement.
• Interview candidates, assess suitability and advise clients with confidence.
• Own communication with both clients and candidates throughout.
• Build a strong personal reputation within the Construction market.
• Maintain your desk, pipeline and client relationships through CRM.
• Take ownership of your billings, performance and earning potential.

The Opportunity

HIR Talent is growing, and we’re looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of an established Construction desk.You’ll step into a warm desk with access to Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients, an active candidate market and opportunities already in play.You’ll manage the full 360 recruitment process end-to-end, from business development and client relationships through to sourcing, headhunting and placement - with the autonomy and earning potential to build a highly successful desk.
