Job summary

Macquarie University is seeking a Manager, Recruitment Operations to lead the delivery and improvement of position establishment, appointments and onboarding services. You will guide a capable team, drive process design, and ensure reliable data and systems support for staff experiences.

You will oversee HR services, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement with dashboards informing planning and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Experience leading HR operations or shared services in a complex organisation.
Experience with position establishment, appointments, onboarding or related lifecycle services.
Technical competency with HRIS/workflow tech including configuration and testing.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery and continuous improvement of position establishment and appointment services.
Build and manage an effective team with performance management and development.
Provide operational oversight of HR services and escalate risks to inform decisions.
Oversee processes, standards, tools, and data quality for reliable service delivery.
Maintain high data quality and develop dashboards to inform planning and decision‑making.
Manage and optimise HR technology solutions and testing of upgrades.
Develop customer relationships and balance stakeholder needs for service excellence.
Analyze HR services and processes to identify value improvements.
