Job summary

Government Organisation NSW is seeking two Recruitment Officers to bolster the Talent Acquisition team in Sydney. This contract role features hybrid working arrangements with an immediate start through to 9 November 2026.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, meet KPIs, and provide guidance on policies while maintaining data integrity and reporting across HR systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of recruitment experience including end-to-end or high-volume recruitment.
• Strong understanding of merit-based recruitment, governance and probity.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply recruitment policies and procedures.
• Proven ability to manage high-pressure environments, sensitive matters and escalations.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Proficiency in HR/recruitment systems such as StaffLink, Taleo or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment in partnership with hiring managers.

• Provide advice on recruitment processes, policies and best practice.
• Prepare advertisements, shortlists, interview packs and outcome letters.
• Manage recruitment enquiries and administration.

• Support continuous improvement, audits, role rotations and recruitment events.
