Job summary

Talent International is currently recruiting a Recruitment Officer to work for the NSW Government, based in Sydney Olympic Park. This is a 2-month contract role with the possibility of extension, paying $42.86/hr plus Super.

Hybrid role offering practical recruitment experience in a high-volume environment, with duties spanning end-to-end processes, merit-based assessments and compliance with NSW Health policies.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months' experience in recruitment or high-volume recruitment administration.
• Ability to manage several recruitment processes and meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of merit-based recruitment, probity and confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work impartially with candidates, hiring managers and other stakeholders.
• Experience with recruitment systems or ability to learn quickly (StaffLink or Taleo).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and high-volume recruitment administration.
• Support hiring managers with merit-based selection and comparative assessments.
• Manage candidate communications, pre-employment checks and recruitment records.
• Handle sensitive enquiries and escalation with professionalism and discretion.
• Maintain accurate information in recruitment and HR systems, and assist with reporting.
• Apply NSW Health recruitment policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
