Job summary

AWCON is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support recruitment across our corporate, project and operational teams, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle from briefs to onboarding. You’ll be mentored by experienced Talent professionals, build talent pipelines and advertise roles while helping shape our employer brand as AWCON grows in Australia’s civil construction sector.

We're looking for a Recruitment Coordinator who loves people, enjoys making things happen and wants to build a career in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or HR.

This is more than a recruitment administration role. You'll work alongside experienced Talent professionals, hiring managers and leaders across AWCON, gaining genuine exposure to the people, projects and workforce behind a rapidly scaling construction business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll support recruitment across our corporate, project and operational teams, with exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle including:

• Supporting role briefs and recruitment requirements


• Advertising roles across SEEK, LinkedIn and other platforms


• Sourcing candidates and building talent pipelines


• Screening applications and conducting initial phone interviews


• Coordinating interviews and candidate communications


• Supporting offers, pre-employment and onboarding


• Maintaining recruitment data and reporting


• Supporting employer branding, talent projects and process improvement

ABOUT YOU

You might be an early-career recruiter, agency recruiter looking to move in-house, HR/People Coordinator, administrator or someone from a customer-facing role looking to turn your natural people skills into a career.

We can teach you recruitment. What we can't teach is curiosity, initiative, energy and a genuine interest in people.

Experience in construction, mining, engineering or infrastructure recruitment is highly regarded, but not essential.
