Job summary

Wellways is seeking a Recovery Worker to support people on their recovery journeys within a trauma-informed, collaborative psychosocial service. You will walk with clients to recognise strengths, build independence and reconnect with meaningful activities and communities.

You will work alongside the Psychosocial Team Leader and other service providers to deliver person-centred care, encouraging client-led decisions and empowerment. This is a full-time, ongoing role in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in mental health or community services sector.
• Commitment to person-centred practice and inclusion.
• Ability to build relationships and support independence.

Responsibilities

• Walk alongside people on their recovery journeys, helping them recognise strengths and build independence.
• Work with the team to provide trauma-informed, collaborative care.
• Support clients to make decisions about their own lives and goals.
