St John of God Geelong Hospital is seeking a reliable, welcoming Medical Receptionist to join our Consulting Suites team. This part-time role offers 22.5 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00am to 5:00pm with flexibility for the right candidate.
You will support consultants and ensure a smooth outpatient service in a busy medical environment. You will have medical reception experience, strong customer service, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a team.

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and welcoming Receptionist to join our busy Consulting Suites team. This part-time opportunity offers 22.5 hours per week across three days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), working 9:00am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility to negotiate hours for the successful candidate. Working within a specialist medical environment, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for patients while supporting consultants and contributing to the smooth delivery of private outpatient services.
As the first point of contact for our Consulting Suites, you will provide exceptional customer service and high-quality administrative support to patients, consultants, and key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include coordinating appointments, responding to patient enquiries, managing accounts, processing invoicing and receipting, and undertaking a range of medical reception and administrative duties. You will have experience in a Medical Receptionist role preferably Specialists’ rooms and ability to prioritise work requirements and work within a team environment.
To succeed you will have a high level of computer proficiency, attention to detail and accuracy, excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills and be able to prioritise work
requirements and work productively within a team environment.
