Job summary

Opal HealthCare Auburn is seeking a friendly receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, families and staff. You will manage calls, greet visitors, handle enquiries and support day-to-day administration across the facility.

Qualifications

  • Previous reception, administration or customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and care.
  • Confident computer skills across Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, visitors and colleagues.
  • Experience in aged care or health care is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment medical and checks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional, caring and welcoming reception service for residents, families, visitors and staff.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages and respond to general enquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain visitor sign-in processes and support a safe, compliant front reception environment.
  • Assist with general administration, including data entry, filing, scanning, mail, stationery ordering and document preparation.
  • Support resident and family communications with sensitivity, confidentiality and respect.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records, reports and documentation as required.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that supports quality care outcomes.

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment while providing efficient administrative support. Located in the Auburn area.

About the Role
  • $30.34 per hour plus 12% superannuation.

As our receptionist, you will create a friendly and welcoming experience for everyone who enters or contacts the care community. You will manage incoming calls, greet visitors, respond to enquiries, maintain accurate records and support day-to-day administration across the facility.
