Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking Assistants in Nursing to support residents in Auburn and surrounding suburbs. The role is permanent part-time with a base rate of $36.23 per hour plus weekend/public holiday penalties and 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability or related field.
• Nursing student status can be considered.
• Strong communication and resident-focused care attitude.
• Willingness to work across a rotating roster, including weekends/public holidays.
• Ability to complete pre-employment checks (police check, NDIS Clearance, medical).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, supporting daily living, dignity and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families.
• Assist with meals, mobility, hygiene and social activities.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Contribute to a warm, respectful care community and follow safety/compliance requirements.

About the role

• $36.23 base rate + Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, plus 12% superannuation.
