Job summary

Southern Star Windows & Doors in Clayton is seeking a motivated, entry-level receptionist to own the reception desk, greet visitors, and manage calls. You’ll support both Southern Star and Canterbury Timber Windows & Doors across customer service and admin tasks.

No prior experience required—just reliability, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn. You’ll interact with customers and suppliers in a fast-paced environment, developing systems knowledge and taking on more

You don’t need years of experience.

We’re much more interested in finding someone who is switched-on, communicates well, learns quickly and has a genuine drive to find solutions.

What will you actually do?

• Own the reception desk at our Clayton showroom
• Answer and direct incoming calls
• Welcome customers, suppliers, and visitors
• Help with general customer service and administration across both brands

Phones will ring while someone is standing at reception and another person will need something from you. If you enjoy being in the middle of the action, you’re going to love it!

You might currently be working in retail, hospitality, reception, administration or customer service and be looking for your first serious full-time office role.

Experience in windows, construction or manufacturing would be great - but it definitely isn’t essential.
