Qualifications

• 4+ years building systems software in production.
• Proficient in Rust or C++ and Python for tooling.
• Experience with hard real-time systems and latency budgets.
• Strong concurrency and hardware-facing programming.
• Experience with memory-mapped IO, DMA, and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the realtime scheduler for qubit allocation across the FPGA mesh.
• Maintain and extend the NISQ pulse compiler translating pulse-level operations into hardware instructions.
• Implement logical measurement, Pauli frame tracking and inter-QPU operations across chiplets.
• Work on the decoder path: error monitoring, offload and look-ahead, and neural network decoder services.
• Design around magic state distillation to have resource states ready for logical gates.
• Ensure latency budgets and hot-path performance without surprises.
• Interface across fabric, embedded processor, host and cluster, including DMA and card-to-card protocols.
• Verify timing-dependent behaviour via simulation and reference models.
