Job summary

Impel Management seeks a Vice President, Real Assets - Fund Accounting to lead accounting services for real asset funds and managers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. You will own key client relationships, oversee reporting and oversee NAV processes, while driving team development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and/or working towards a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Solid experience in fund administration, fund accounting or audit, with a meaningful part of it in real assets.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, including consolidations.
• Hands-on experience reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
• Experience supervising, reviewing or mentoring others; formal leadership is a plus.
• Strong client relationship skills and the confidence to handle difficult conversations.
• Project management skills and a track record of change management.
• Ability to work well under pressure; proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Yardi experience is highly regarded (or MRI).

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund operations and accounting activities for real assets funds and managers.
• Manage client relationships and service levels, and coordinate with onboarding teams.
• Lead risk controls, SOC 1 adherence and process improvements.
• Guide, develop and evaluate the team; support recruitment and performance reviews.
