Job summary

QIC is seeking a detail-driven fund accounting professional to join a collaborative team managing real estate investments and funds. You will work closely with senior accountants and the finance manager to ensure accurate month-end reporting, unit pricing and distributions.

The role focuses on delivering timely financial statements, cash flow forecasts and investor reporting, while supporting statutory tax balances and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, business or commerce required.
• CPA/CA designation preferred.
• Experience in fund accounting or investment management desirable.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience.
• Attention to detail with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end accounting and recurring fund reporting activities.
• Prepare monthly unit pricing, investor reporting and performance reporting.
• Calculate distributions payable to investors.
• Assist with statutory financial statements, tax balances and workpapers.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor bank accounts.
• Support fund transactions including subscriptions, redemptions and unit transfers.
• Assist with property acquisitions and disposals, including settlement adjustments.
• Prepare audit files and support the external audit process.
• Collaborate with Real Estate Funds Management, investment teams and external service providers.
