Job summary

Technical Resources Pty Ltd in Perth invites an experienced Readiness & Compliance Lead to drive governance, approvals and readiness for major resource and infrastructure projects.

Reporting into a high-performing project team, you will embed compliance into plans, manage risks, and coordinate with functions to ensure land access, regulatory obligations and schedules are aligned across the project lifecycle. This is a Perth-based, Monday–Friday role with a stable roster.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in mining, resources or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience in project management, approvals, compliance and risk management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and statutory approvals.
• Experience with enterprise compliance and governance systems.
• Knowledge of project controls, risk management and delivery frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial acumen, planning capability and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking an experienced Readiness & Compliance Lead to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of major resource and infrastructure projects. Reporting into a high-performing project team, this position will drive project readiness, governance and compliance activities, ensuring critical approvals, land access, regulatory obligations and risk management requirements are integrated into project execution plans.

• Lead project readiness and compliance workstreams to support successful project delivery.
• Ensure approvals, tenure, land access and compliance obligations are integrated into project schedules and execution plans.
• Drive planning, governance and readiness processes across the project lifecycle.
• Identify schedule risks and interfacing workstreams, implementing recovery strategies where required.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and resource planning for compliance and readiness activities.
• Review approvals strategies, regulatory pathways and compliance obligations to ensure project requirements are met.
• Coordinate critical project information requirements between project teams and business functions.
• Embed compliance requirements into project scope, work packages and delivery plans.
• Identify, assess and manage project readiness and compliance risks, escalating issues where necessary.
• Maintain robust governance, reporting and assurance processes to provide visibility of project performance and risk.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive experience delivering compliance, approvals and readiness outcomes within large-scale mining, infrastructure or resources projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
