Job summary

Dimensions is seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to join our Kenton team, helping four individuals with learning disabilities and autism live independently and with dignity. A full UK / EU manual driving licence is required for this role.

You will support daily routines, personal care, medication administration, shopping and meals, and household tasks in an active, social environment where every day offers new experiences and opportunities to thrive.

Qualifications

• Full UK / EU Manual Driving Licence Required.
• Full positive behaviour support training provided, but previous experience is essential.

We're looking for enthusiastic, positive Support Workers to join our team in

Kenton, supporting four incredible people in their own supported living bungalows.

You’ll be supporting three gentlemen and one lady with learning disabilities and autism to live independently and enjoy life on their terms.

This is a lively, engaging environment with people who love to stay active, social and involved.

Their interests include:

• - Thrill-seeking days out - think fairgrounds and fun activities
• - Video games and entertainment
• - Shopping trips
• - Getting creative with arts and crafts
• - Bike rides and being outdoors
• - Watching drama and crime series (Police Interceptors is a favourite!)
• - Music, dancing and enjoying the moment
• - Spending quality time with family and friends

No two days are the same, and your role will be all about helping them enjoy the things they love.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.
