Job summary

HCF is seeking a Mobile App Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications for iOS and Android. You will translate business requirements into technical specs, implement scalable architectures, and craft reusable UI components.

You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams, ensure secure storage and privacy compliance, and contribute to automated testing and release processes for the App Store and Google Play.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years in mobile development environments.
• Strong proficiency in React Native for cross‑platform iOS and Android.
• Hands‑on with native modules (Swift/Obj‑C, Kotlin/Java).
• Experience releasing apps to App Store and Google Play with compliance steps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Translate requirements into technical specs and estimate effort.
• Implement scalable architecture, feature flags, and reusable UI components.
• Write unit and integration tests (Jest, Detox).
• Support build/release processes and release notes for stores.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features.
• Ensure secure storage, auth flows, and data privacy compliance.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and code signing, configs, and artifacts.
• Conduct code reviews and promote continuous improvement.
