Job summary

Linfox is seeking an experienced Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join the Wingfield team in a permanent role starting from 5AM. You will support day-to-day warehouse operations, including forklift operation, picking and packing, and general store duties.

Responsibilities include high-reach forklift work, order picking, receiving and dispatch, RF scanner use, and adhering to safety procedures in a modern, safety-driven facility with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• LF forklift license with High Reach experience is required.
• Experience operating forklifts and completing picking/packing tasks.
• Proficient with SAP or similar systems.
• Ability to work safely and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-reach forklift for picking and replenishment.
• Pick and pack orders to meet delivery schedules.
• Receive and dispatch freight, pallet staging, and load prep.
• Use RF scanners for stock accuracy and real-time updates.
• Handle freight safely following safety procedures.

What does the job look like?

Linfox is currently seeking an experienced Storeperson / Forklift Operatorto join our team in Wingfield. This is apermanent role, with starts time from 5AM. You’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations including forklift operation, picking and packing, and general store duties.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys variety in their work and is looking to build a long-term career within a well established, safety driven organisation. Key areas:

• High reach forklift operation for picking and replenishment tasks
  
• Picking and packing orders to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements using an order picker (handling heavy industrial and paint products)
  
• Receiving and dispatch operations including pallet staging, load preparation for outbound / inbound freight, checking documentation, stock allocation etc.
  
• Using RF scanners to ensure stock accuracy and real time inventory updates
  
• Handling freight safely in accordance with Linfox Safety Procedures, including dangerous goods awareness, proper lifting techniques and compliance
