Job summary

Linfox is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the afternoon shift at the Derrimut site. You will manage end-to-end warehouse activities, ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations, and drive on-time delivery performance.

You will guide labour, equipment, and processes, coach staff, and maintain strong stakeholder communication with transport, inventory and customers. This role emphasizes safety and continuous improvement within a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Shift Manager in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch, inventory, and labour planning in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with WMS or SAP, labour management systems, and RF scanning.
• Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume operations.
• Safety-minded with a track record of enforcing procedures and compliance.
• Capable of managing pressure and shifting priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication across floor teams and office stakeholders.
• Experience with dangerous goods is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations across receiving, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Drive on-time, in-full delivery performance for outbound orders.
• Lead daily pre-starts, shift handovers, and operational briefings.
• Allocate labour, equipment and dock resources to changing volumes.
• Coach and develop team members to raise performance and engagement.
• Monitor productivity, KPIs and workflow to remove bottlenecks.
• Manage real-time issues, delays, equipment breakdowns or priority changes.
• Ensure WHS, Chain of Responsibility and site procedures are followed.
• Maintain strong communication with transport, inventory and customer stakeholders.

What does the job look like?

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Derrimut. This is a key leadership role within a high-performing warehouse environment. You’ll lead the afternoon shift across all warehouse activities, ensuring on delivering safe, efficient, and accurate operations every day. Key areas:

About you

You’re a practical leader. You’ve worked on the floor, you understand warehouse operations, and you know how to get the best out of a team. You will bring:

• Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Shift Manager in a warehouse or logistics environment
  
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including dispatch, inventory, and labour planning
  
• Hands-on experience with WMS or SAP, labour management systems and RF scanning
  
• Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  
• A strong safety mindset, with experience enforcing compliance and procedures
  
• Confidence managing operational pressure and shifting priorities
  
• Excellent communication skills across both floor teams and office stakeholders
  
• Experience in regulated environments or handling dangerous goods will be highly regarded.
