Job summary

dnata is hiring Ramp and Baggage Agents for a permanent part-time role at Sydney Airport, guaranteed 24 hours per week. You will be part of a global team delivering smooth airport operations with a strong safety and service focus.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication, customer service, and physical fitness to lift up to 32kg, pass a medical, and obtain security clearance. A valid driver's license and willingness to work a rotating roster are essential.

Qualifications

• Australian or NZ citizen or Australian Permanent Residency.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical and be able to lift 32kg.
• Must undergo Australian Federal Police security check.
• Valid driver’s license and excellent communication skills.
• Available to work on a rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Move Ground Services Equipment such as aircraft stairs, conveyors, tugs, belt loaders, etc.
• Marshalling of arriving aircraft in accordance with procedures.
• Comply with safety standards and operating procedures.
• Perform aircraft push back and towing using various pushback tractors.
• Hands-on capacity handling a range of duties.

We are currently recruiting for Ramp and Baggage Agents on a Permanent Part time basis (guaranteed 24 hours per week). Our Ramp and Baggage Agents are an essential part of the smooth running of Airport Operations. By joining our team, you become part of the team that moves the world.

A few of the key responsibilities for a Ramp and Baggage Agent are:

• The movement of Ground Services Equipment e.g. aircraft stairs, mobile conveyors, tugs, belt loaders etc
• Marshalling of arriving aircraft in accordance
• Comply with safety standards and operating procedures
• The safe and timely Aircraft push back and towing activities, driving and operating diverse Pushback tractors both conventional and Tow-bar-less types
• Hands on capacity handling a range of duties

Working for dnata at the airport there are a few must haves for you to be successful:

• You need to have Australian / New Zealand citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
• You must be willing to undertake a Pre-employment medical test and be able to lift 32kg
• You must be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Security check
• You will need a valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills – Verbal and Written
• High level of customer service skills
• Available to work on a rotating roster
