Job summary

Exectronics is seeking a reliable, practical and motivated individual to join our workshop and manufacturing team in North Sydney. This hands-on role involves assembling and manufacturing specialised electrical and electronic equipment used in Australia's rail networks.

We welcome applicants with practical experience and a willingness to learn. Formal qualifications are not required; full working rights in Australia are needed.

Qualifications

• Practical hands-on mindset and ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Willingness to learn in a specialised manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• General workshop assembly and manufacturing activities.
• Measuring, cutting, drilling and preparing materials and components.
• Mounting and assembling mechanical and electrical components.
• Basic fabrication and modification of brackets, panels and enclosures.
• Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
• Following technical drawings, measurements and assembly instructions.
• Assisting with basic electrical assembly and wiring where appropriate.
• Preparing components and materials for production.
• Assisting with quality control and general workshop operations.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
