Job summary

Weedmasters Rail & Civil is seeking a hands-on, outdoor-loving team member to join our expanding crew in NSW and Victoria. The role involves chemical spraying, brush-cutting, fencing and protection officer duties, with four nights away each week and travel allowances.

You will be part of a small, friendly team, supported by training and development opportunities, and a clear career pathway toward leadership or specialised roles. Relocation to or near Cootamundra is welcome.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work outdoors.
• Safety-conscious and drug/alcohol-free (testing is routine).
• Able to travel and stay away midweek for work.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical spraying, brush-cutting, fencing and protection officer duties.

At Weedmasters Rail & Civil, no two weeks are the same—and that's exactly how our crew likes it. With over 20 years of experience working safely and successfully along major rail corridors, we’re expanding and looking for a hands‑on, outdoor-loving, safety-first crew member to join our team.

The Role

You’ll be part of a small, friendly team working in different regional locations throughout NSW and Victoria. Whether it’s chemical spraying, brush‑cutting, fencing, or protection officer duties, you’ll be on the go and making a difference every day.

You’ll typically travel four nights away each week (with a generous allowance provided). The work is physical, rewarding, and full of variety.

About You

We’re looking for someone who’s:

Ready to work outdoors and stay fit

Mechanically minded or keen to learn

A team player but confident working independently

Safety conscious and drug/alcohol-free (testing is routine)

Willing to travel for work and stay away midweek

Located in Cootamundra—or open to relocating

Nice to have:

MR or HR licence

White Card

RIW card or willingness to obtain

Chainsaw ticket, First Aid, AQF3 Chem Cert (or willingness to get certified—we’ll support you!)

No Experience in Rail? No Worries.
