Job summary

Siemens Mobility is looking for a Service & Support Engineer in North Ryde, NSW, to join our Customer Service team. You will support Siemens Mobility's digital rail systems through technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance in both Linux and Windows environments, ensuring high-quality service levels.

This role involves providing both remote and onsite support, conducting system health checks, and working closely with engineering teams and customers.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant engineering disciplines.
Experience in technical support in a mission-critical environment.
Hands-on experience with VMware and Linux systems.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 technical support for rail systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot servers and applications.
Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Conduct preventive maintenance and audits.
Support installation and configuration activities.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call support roster.
