Job summary

Downer Group in Auburn, NSW seeks an entry-level Associate Performance Attribution Analyst to join the Rail and Transit Systems team. You will analyse performance data to identify root causes of operational delays and penalties, preparing evidence-based attribution reports and supporting Through-Life-Support teams.

This role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification, familiarity with complex systems, and the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and clients; it offers

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification required.
• Experience maintaining complex electrical/mechanical systems.
• Rail industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering change and configuration management.
• Familiarity with quality assurance procedures.
• Experience with troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to investigate defects for incident attribution.
• Understanding of commercial contract management.

Responsibilities

• Investigate train incidents by analysing performance and systems data to identify root causes.
• Prepare evidence-based incident attribution reports for stakeholders.
