Job summary

Downer re is seeking an Associate Performance Attribution Analyst to join the Rail and Transit Systems team in Auburn, NSW. You will analyse performance and system data to identify root causes of operational delays and penalties, and prepare evidence-based attribution reports.

You will collaborate with Through-Life-Support teams and liaise with internal stakeholders and client representatives to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification or relevant trade qualification.
• Experience maintaining complex electrical/mechanical systems and using fault-diagnostic tools.
• Rail industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of change processes, configuration management and reliability improvement.
• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to investigate defects and incidents for attribution.
• Understanding of commercial contract management.

Responsibilities

• Investigate train incidents by analysing performance and system data to determine root causes and contributing factors.
• Collate evidence-based incident attribution reports.
• Collaborate with Through-Life-Support teams to improve operational performance.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and client representatives.
